Who can I contact with general questions?
+1 860-868-0538 or info@pilobolus.org
How do I buy tickets?
Please visit our ticket site HERE.
How much does it cost to attend?
BLOOM: Morning Wellness sessions are $30 per person (age 15+).
BLOOM: A Journey (Roving Art Safari) is $50-$75 per carload (all ages).
How long is the Car Safari?
BLOOM: A Journey will be about 60-75 minutes in length. Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your scheduled time slot.
Where is BLOOM located?
Sunny Meadow Farm, 66 Northrup St., Bridgewater, CT
Are food and beverage available for purchase?
Yes, pre-packaged locally-sourced snack boxes will be available for purchase for the car safari. Snack boxes must be purchased in advance with your ticket purchase. Reserve or learn more about snack boxes HERE.
The Journey experience is advertised as being by vehicle; is there any walking involved?
At each station on the Journey, Roving Art Safari attendees are able to get out of their vehicle to enjoy the performance and the beautiful setting.
Do you drive through the Journey in your own vehicle, or will you have vehicles available to rent?
Ticket-buyers are expected to drive through the program in their own vehicles.
What if I want to attend but do not have a car?
Due to COVID-19, planning for group transportation options is not advisable. Please consider whether there is someone that drives in your circle with whom you feel safe attending.
Is the car program suitable for convertibles? Can we ride in the back of a truck? Motorcycles? Bicycles? Extra-large vehicles?
Convertibles and trucks are welcome. Automatic transmissions are recommended. Motorcycles present an issue of noise pollution; you and your motorcycle will not be turned away if you have purchased a ticket in advance, however, we strongly prefer that motorcycles be left at home. Due to mixed terrain and traffic concerns, we ask that bicycles be left at home. A fully immersed experience requires a functional FM radio. Please contact us if you have a vehicle larger than a minivan or pickup truck so we can do our best to accommodate you.
Do tickets need to be booked in advance or can we show up when we feel like it?
We strongly recommend that you book your tickets online, ahead of time, in order to reserve your time slot for the Journey. Otherwise, we cannot guarantee that we can accommodate you.
Once I exit the driving portion of the program, can I go through again on the same day?
Your Journey driving ticket is good only for the time slot for which you are scheduled. You are welcome to attend Morning Wellness programs at Sunny Meadow Farm (by making a reservation HERE).
Will I receive a physical ticket and will I be interacting with ticketing staff?
Your tickets will be electronic only, and our check-in staff will engage with you safely from an appropriate distance.
Are face masks required?
Pilobolus will be following all CDC, state and local pandemic guidelines. Face masks are not required when outside your vehicle during the car safari but we ask that all patrons practice social distancing from other household groups. During outdoor Morning Wellness programs, attendees will be asked to appropriately distance themselves from other guests. If you do not have a face mask and need one, disposable masks will be available. If Morning Wellness is moved indoors due to inclement weather, masks for all attendees will be required.
What happens if I show up late? Or if I show up early?
If you arrive early to Sunny Meadow Farm you will be directed appropriately by staff. If you show up late to your Journey time slot, unfortunately, we cannot guarantee whether or not we will be able to accommodate you in the following or a future time slot, therefore we strongly advise that you make every effort to arrive 15 minutes before your time slot.
What happens in case of bad weather? Are refunds offered?
As a ticket-buyer you will receive an email if your scheduled time slot is postponed due to bad weather. Please check @pilobolus and @bloombypilobolus on Instagram for real-time updates or call +1 860-868-0538 if there is inclement weather on the day of your anticipated arrival. Refunds will not be offered as BLOOM is a non-profit fundraising event for Pilobolus. If necessary, some time slots may be postponed into July 26th and/or July 27th.
If there is inclement weather during Morning Wellness, those sessions will be moved indoors to the barn onsite.
How are you handling safety for Morning Wellness programs that involve fitness activities and movement?
Due to safety precautions related to COVID-19, mats and equipment will not be provided on-site, and participants are encouraged to bring their own mats, blocks, cushions or blankets, and a water bottle.
Are the experiences accessible to young children? And individuals with special needs or reduced mobility?
Morning classes are recommended for ages 15+. The Journey (Roving Art Safari) is appropriate for all ages. Please let us know in advance of your arrival if you or your family have special needs so we can best meet them.
If I cannot make my showtime, can I postpone my visit to a later date or get a refund?
We expect to be at full capacity and may not be able to accommodate ticket exchanges. If you are unable to attend your ticketed time slot please contact info@pilobolus.org or call +1 860-868-0538 as soon as possible and we will make every effort to accommodate you, and meanwhile can release your ticket to another buyer, or you can give your ticket to a friend. Refunds will not be offered as BLOOM: A Journey is a non-profit fundraising event for Pilobolus.
Are pets allowed?
We kindly ask that you leave pets at home unless they are licensed service animals.
Can I take pictures and video, and post on my social media?
Yes! Please tag @pilobolus and @bloombypilobolus and use #bloombypilobolus when posting.
Are there restrooms on-site?
Yes, there are restrooms available on-site accessible prior to the start of the Journey, and during Morning Wellness programs.
Is there strobe lighting or any other visual concerns to be aware of?
