  • PSM will be responsible for maintaining integrity of performances as designed throughout the tour.

    Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

    • Generating show paperwork (cue sheets, run sheets, running orders, signage, etc.

    • Building Qlab files for upcoming shows

    • Hospitality & FOH advances with each venue along with onsite hospitality & FOH coordination

    • Driving of company van or rented vans and trucks to some select tour stops

    • Adapt staging/set up to local conditions in consultation with Lighting Supervisor

    • Supervise local crew in some of the following departments: Audio/Video, laying of dance floor, props, and/or wardrobe. Exact division of labor is dependent upon programming in the current tour and skills of the specific touring crew at that time.

    • Coordinating and running technical rehearsals in collaboration with Dance Captain

    • Overseeing sound monitor placement on stage and setting sound levels with local AV Technician

    • Running sound and video cues during performances and calling all other cues

    • Writing and sending show and venue reports

    • Coordinating company travel days.

    • Tracking receipts and submitting monthly expense reports.

    • Updating piece archival documents as needed.

    • Filing and organization of piece Qlab files, show & venue reports.

    Ideal candidate's qualities include:

    • Valid driver’s license

    • Valid passport

    • Good personal and communication skills

    • Collaborative attitude

    • Touring experience

    • Stage management experience in dance

    • Proficiency with Qlab

    Company is based in northwest CT and preference will be given to candidates based in the northeast United States. Contract begins in September/October, but ideal training takes place in July/August to overlap with outgoing PSM. Current contract is for domestic touring in the 24/25 season but there is potential for additional work on special engagements, events, or international tours. This position is part-time and the schedule is based on the company's touring schedule.

    Salary is $200 per working and travel day with overtime provisions. Position is paid biweekly as a W2 employee and a Lifestyle Benefit stipend is available for those eligible.

  • Lighting Supervisor will oversee the integrity of piece lighting designs throughout the tour.

    Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

    • Generate lighting paperwork for each venue (light plots, line set schedule, color schedule, channel hookup, instrument schedule)

    • Advance with each venue along with General Manager

    • Work with Lighting Designers when creating New Work to best serve designs within rep plot and touring constraints

    • Driving of company van or rented vans and trucks to some select tour stops

    • Adapt staging/spacing/lighting to local conditions in consultation with PSM

    • Supervise local lighting crew

    • Participate in technical rehearsals and lighting dailies in collaboration with Dance Captain & PSM (and/or Artistic Directors when applicable)

    • Run lighting console during performances

    • Update show paperwork as necessary (piece information sheets, cue sheets, run sheets)

    Ideal candidate's qualities include:

    • Valid driver’s license

    • Valid passport

    • Good personal and communication skills

    • Collaborative attitude

    • Touring experience

    • Lighting design and lighting supervisor experience in dance

    • Proficient with Vectorworks, Lightwright, and ETC consoles
